Our Mission

The Charity's mission is to help local area residents (within a 30-mile radius of Readington Township, NJ) who are facing financial difficulties due to a child facing serious illness.

About Us

The Shannon Daley Memorial Fund was established in January 2002. It is managed by its founders, the members of the Readington New Jersey Men's Basketball League. The Charity honors the memory of a league member's infant daughter who died of a rare heart disease.

We are an event driven charity; we have a charity basketball game in the winter and golf outing in the summer. We are a strictly volunteer organization where 100% of the money raised less basic event costs is donated to the recipient families. We believe that we are making a difference one family at a time.

Our History

Since being established in January 2002, we have raised and distributed over $1.6 million to more than 60 children and their families. This has been accomplished by the support and generosity of the many businesses and individuals in our community who believe that they can make a difference in somebody's life.
